My Role: Creative & Art Direction
In collaboration with Grafill, I helped Bekk conceptualize the theme of the ED Awards, "Making new connections". The goal was to create a unique experience for the visitors by uniting design and technology.
In short: outside the comfort zone. Outstanding solutions are often developed at the intersection of seemingly incompatible perspectives and thoughts. When things that usually do not belong together suddenly makes sense.

A Hidden Indstry
The overall atmosphere is dark - the visitors first impression is a sense of "uncharted" waters they have to navigate through. This is emphazied through the lighting concept and interactions the visitors have with the exhibition.
This exhibiton hightlightes the norwegian maritime industry from 1950s to present - and future. Different installations and arenas are tells their own side of this story.
A simulation game played by 1-4 people. You play a ship broker
Munch was an avid photographer and took numerous self-portraits, other subjects and landscapes. Photography was often used as part of his process - and should most likely be viewed as studies and sketches - where he would later paint based on his photo studies.
This installation aims to capture Munchs process. The visitor points the vintage camera towards one of the 5 paintings in the gallery. The image recognition prompts the user to take a snapshot of the painting. The painting is replaced with the relevant photo Munch used in this particual artwork.
